Dress codes for girls

1. Formal clothes for women can be either Indian or Western. When choosing what to wear, people should keep in mind that this is a formal space and that they should dress appropriately.

2. For the screening day, the interview, and the conference, you can bring three pairs of formal clothes. Keep in mind that the kurta sleeves should be long enough to reach either the elbows or the wrists. A plain, simple kurta will do. You can wear formal Polo t-shirts and pants on the other days.

3. Don't bring casual clothes like T-shirts with round necks. Also, don't forget to bring long pyjamas and nice T-shirts, but nothing with a low neck, for the evenings, and don't wear shorts.

4. If you want to look Western-style formal, you can wear a light-colored full-sleeved shirt with a pair of dark pants.

5. In both situations, you should wear shoes with closed toes.

Dress codes for boys 

6. A tracksuit is something you can bring along for group tasks and fitness tests. You can wear white sports shoes or white PT shoes and calf-length socks with the tracksuit.

7. Women candidates can keep their hair out of their faces by putting it in a bun or making a single braid.

8. There is really no reason to put on makeup. If you still want to put on makeup, you can use something as simple as kajal. Keep in mind that this is a formal interview, and your chances of getting into the military depend on how well you do.

9. No one is judging you on how good you are at makeup. Instead, you are being judged on how smart and interesting you are. Also, doing different things will make you sweat, which will cause your makeup to melt.

10. If you're always worried about your makeup getting smudged, you won't look professional, which can hurt your chances of getting chosen.

11. When it comes to accessories, it's best not to wear jewellery or watches. The main reason is that jewellery like earrings and necklaces can get lost, and watches can make it hard to do well in group tasks and physical fitness tests.

12. In conclusion, you don't have to wear makeup, and in some ways, you shouldn't. Just pay attention to your interview and do well on all the tasks the board gives you.

13. Make sure you pack everything on the list, just as it says on the call list. When you forget things or bring the wrong things, it doesn't look good.

14. Stay sure of yourself and do your best. Don't let yourself get upset. When someone asks you a question, you can always take a moment to think. If you start to feel nervous, take a deep breath, clear your mind, and then answer with confidence.
